Common room
The common room is located on the ground floor of the hall and contains a large-screen projection TV, chairs and the hall canteen.
This large communal area is frequently used for events such as the first year party, international expo, or a viewing of a movie or sporting event.
The Ursies Canteen is open six nights a week, from 8-10pm. Residents find the Canteen a busy and social place to hang out. It sells a wide range of products from chips, lollies, chocolate bars/biscuits, cold drinks, to essentials such as washing powder and toothpaste. The Canteen is staffed by Ursies residents and is provided as a non-profit service to residents.
The projection TV in the common room has access to a number of ANU provided satellite TV channels and Foxtel.
