Meals & dining

The quality and range of meals are very important features of life at Ursula Hall. You can't study if you are hungry! The Hall supplies three nutritional meals a day, seven days a week. The Hall also offers both packed lunch and late dinner options.

With a little advance notice, we can organise food for field trips. No need to miss out on anything.

As the saying goes 'Best food on Campus' is at Ursies!

Breakfast is available weekday mornings between 7:45 and 9:15am, and on weekends between 8:15 and 9:45am. A hot breakfast is served on weekday mornings. Cereals are always available, as is bread for toasting and orange juice and milk. Eggs, bacon, pancakes, spaghetti, hash browns, baked beans etc., are served on weekday mornings.

The dining room is open for Lunch every day from 12:30 to 1:30pm and there is usually the choice of two hot meals, and there is always a variety of salads. For residents who are unable to return to hall for lunch, packed lunches are available on weekdays.

Dinner is served between 5:30 and 6:30pm every night. There is always a choice of three hot meals, one of which is a vegetarian option. There is a green salad and a variety of desserts. Residents who cannot make evening meal times may order a late dinner.
